15 травня - перша зустріч після карантину, майже два місяці не бачилися. Розповіли один одному, що читали,що слухали, що дивилися за цей час. Обмінялися думками. Звісно не оминули тему "День Європи", бо саме сьгодні  відзначають цей день.

Щороку у третю суботу травня Україна відзначає День Європи.  Для українців  – це особливий день, адже нашу країну та ЄС єднають спільні цінності, історія та культура.

Довідково. Рада Європи це свято відзначає 5 травня, 9-го – Європейський Союз  як річницю проголошення плану виходу Європи з післявоєнної кризи міністром закордонних справ Франції Робер Шуманом 9 травня 1950 року, відомої також як Декларація Шумана. Перше визнання Дня Європи відбулось у Раді Європи у 1964 році. Пізніше Європейський Союз започаткував свій власний Європейський день на відзначення декларації Шумана, саме тому його називають ще  «Днем Шумана». В України свято відзначають з 2003 року у третю суботу травня згідно з Указом Президента України та «…враховуючи стратегічний курс України на європейську інтеграцію…»

Цього року святкування Дня Європи в Україні припадає  на 15 травня. Це вже 19-й День Європи, який відзначатиме Україна.
